Tour Description

On the day of your tour, we will come and pick you up from your chosen bus stop or hotel in Reykjavík. We will then start the unforgettable adventure to the most famous volcano in Iceland now - Sundhnukar Volcano.

We will explore the newly formed volcano and the magical surroundings of the Reykjanes Peninsula. On our way to Sundhnukar (the location of the volcano), we will pass by a highly volcanic area – where thousand-year-old lava fields have overtaken the whole peninsula. 

We go as close as authorities allow us to witness this amazing event, where we will see the erupting volcano and flowing lava.

We will then make our way to the top of a mountain, where we will be able to see the volcano and the magnificent lava fields from the top. 

While enjoying the beautiful views, we will stop for a chocolate break – where we will have HRAUN Chocolate – which means LAVA in Icelandic.
